Pride uppmärksammades från början för att manifestera HBTQI-personers rättigheter att få leva sina liv som de vill. Nuförtiden har begreppet breddats och idag är även mänskliga rättigheter och alla människors lika värde viktiga frågor att ta med. I år kommer paraden att starta från Götaplatsen kl. 13 och vi träffas kl. 12.40 vid Stadsbibliotekets entré så att vi gemensamt kan hitta en lämplig plats för oss i paraden. Vi bjuder på takeawayfika (frukt, bullar och dricka). Vi ser gärna att ni har på er på våra föreningst-shirtar, så ange storlek när ni anmäler er. Vi kommer också ha med oss egengjorda plakat som vi hoppas att ni vill använda er av. Det är viktigt att ni anger ert telefonnummer vid anmälan så att vi kan hitta varandra i folkvimlet. West Pride Parade

Pride was originally celebrated to demonstrate the rights of LGBTQI people to live their lives as they want. Nowadays, the concept has been broadened and today human rights and the equal value of all people are also important issues to include. Unfortunately, the conditions for LGBTQI people have deteriorated in several countries in recent years, even in countries where this was previously not believed to be possible. This year, the parade will start from Götaplatsen at 1 pm and we will meet at 12.40 am at the entrance to the city library so that we can jointly find a suitable place for ourselves in the parade. We will offer takeaway fika. We would like you to wear our PG Väst t-shirts, so please indicate your size when you register. It is important that you provide your phone number in case we don’t find each other in the crowd You are all very welcome!
